The 4 Pines Jacket is a heavy duty jacket made to be abused. Medium weight insulation ensures the cold won't interfere with a great day on the ski hill. The shell fabric is similar to twill, so it is heavier and much more durable than typical insulated jackets. This jacket is ideal for the avid skier or snowboarder that is at a ski resort more often than not, and needs something that will last more than a few days. The 4 Pines caters more toward lift serviced skiing and snowboarding rather than the backcountry approach because it is noticeably heavier than touring shells.

The great thing about this technical shirt is that it looks like its just a regular shirt. It could be worn to the office or even a job interview (for non-white collar workers). It gets set apart from the rest of the cotton short-sleeve, button-up shirts with the CoolTouch fabric and sun protection. The CoolTouch fabric wicks moisture away from the body, even in light aerobic activities (climbing, hikes, etc.), and gives the user a SPF of 45, without slopping on a bunch of sunblock. Its a great, multi-purpose shirt to have, because it is so versatile and comfortable.
